MERIT SENSOR SYSTEMS JOINS

UTAH’S “DEFENSE AND HOMELAND SECURITY” ECONOMIC CLUSTER

 

SANTA CLARA, CA – Merit Sensor Systems, Inc., a leader in component-level piezoresistive pressure sensor solutions, announced its affiliation with the “Defense and Homeland Security” economic cluster of Utah today.

“We are pleased to announce the addition of Merit Sensor Systems to the cluster,” said Dr. Greg Jones, Director of the Economic Cluster Initiative (ECI). “Merit Sensor Systems brings key technical competencies and entrepreneurial drive as well as the support and resources of its parent company, Merit Medical Systems,” said Colonel (retired) Gary Harter, Director of the Defense and Homeland Security Cluster.

The ECI is a government-sponsored program designed to accelerate economic growth and job creation through the coordination and cooperation of government, academia and business.  The Defense and Homeland Security Cluster encompasses “Smart Sensors and Autonomous Systems.”
