MERIT SENSOR SYSTEMS JOINS NASST AS CHARTER MEMBER, TO HEAD UP REGIONAL OFFICE IN UTAH

 

SOUTH JORDAN, UT � Merit Sensor Systems, Inc., a leader in component-level piezoresistive pressure sensor solutions and a division of Merit Medical Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: MMSI) announced today that it has joined forces with the National Association of Sensor Science and Technology (NASST) as a charter member and will head up the regional chapter in Utah.

�We are pleased to announce the addition of Merit Sensor Systems to our growing organization,� said Rick Lally, President of NASST.� �Merit Sensor Systems is an accomplished and committed player in the sensor industry and will bring additional experience and energy to the success of our national and regional efforts.�

NASST began in August of 2006 and is the only U.S.-based industry group focused exclusively on the interests of sensor-related companies.� NASST is a non-profit organization and is actively organizing regional chapters throughout the United States.�
