ACHIEVES RECORD REVENUES

 

SANTA CLARA, CA – Merit Sensor Systems, Inc., a leader in component-level piezoresistive pressure sensor solutions, announced record-breaking revenues today.

“We are pleased to announce that for the quarter ended June 30, 2004 revenues of Merit Sensor were the highest quarterly figures ever posted in the history of the subsidiary,” said Fred Lampropoulos, Chairman and CEO of Merit Medical Systems, Inc. “Merit Sensor’s second quarter revenues beat the highest previous quarter’s revenues (Q3 ’03) by 20%.”

Consistent with prior practice, Merit Medical Systems, Inc. does not report separate, detailed financial performance figures for Merit Sensor Systems or any other divisions.

“We are delighted that our new and existing customers are responding favorably to our new growth initiatives,” said Diana Upp, President of Merit Sensor Systems.  “This milestone is a vote of confidence that we are adding tangible customer value in the marketplace.”
