MERIT SENSOR SYSTEMS

ATTAINS ISO 9001:2000 CERTIFICATION

SANTA CLARA, CA – Merit Sensor Systems, Inc., a leader in piezoresistive, micro-machined pressure sensor solutions, announced certification to the latest ISO standard today.

“Merit Sensor Systems is pleased to announce our certification upgrade to the ISO 9001:2000 standard,” said Diana Upp, President of Merit Sensor Systems. “This milestone further underscores our continued commitment to develop and maintain quality systems.”

Prior to ISO 9001:2000, Merit Sensor Systems was certified to the ISO 9002:1994 standard.  The new standard contains new quality management system requirements, including the addition of a customer satisfaction component.
