MSS100

The MSS100 is a pressure transducer that is ideal for medical, pharmaceutical, and bio-processing applications, such as blood analysis and gas chromatography. It measures pressure from the backside of the MEMS silicon die, which makes it an ideal product for use with harsh liquids and vapors that would otherwise damage a sensor’s circuitry. Once you have the MSS100 in your hands, it is ready for a simple electrical connection via Molex connector and pressure connection via Luer fitting.

FAQ

What is media, for example, harsh media? Show Answer

Media is the environment to which the sensor is exposed. Media can be liquid, gas, or air. Harsh media is anything that could damage the sensor and its electronics, for example, gasoline, oil, exhaust, and even water.

What is compound pressure? Show Answer

Compound pressure is when both positive and negative/vacuum pressures are involved.
